The Importance of Reading your Bible

I would like to remind everyone to please study the Bible. (Joshua 1:8). If you want answers, clarity, motivation, wisdom, knowledge, etc, it is all in there. God says “my people perish because of lack of knowledge”. We have access to God directly through the Bible. It is the ultimate living water. (John 1:1, 10:14). Waters can’t flow from you if don’t have the word of God in you, and in your heart. How to seek God? Read the bible. If you need or want something from God, ask freely. (Matthew 7:7)

Spiritual maturity comes with how much Word you have in

you. Make every intention to study. Please do not say that you don’t understand or know something, it is in the Bible. If you don’t see it in there, pray for revelation. go the extra mile to study. Develop a passion for the word. This is the only way to be sustained and purified.

If anyone is still confused about God and struggling in their faith, read the Bible. Everything you need is in the word of God.

As you grow in the faith you will realize that speaking the word (scriptures) over yourself, your car, your house, your family, situations, will transform you daily. There is power in the word of God. Speak the word out of your mouth. Meditate on the word, and no devil in hell will be able to stand against you. The Bible is a double-edged sword and it is our light. Use it.

Prayer is wonderful, but if you do not have the

word of God... question yourself. Prayer plus to word is amazing. Studying the bible is your seek, Prayer is your Knock!

The key is the Word. God has given it freely. It is our greatest gift and greatest weapon. Whether you use it or not is on you. God is just and righteous. So be intentional.

Take heed. Don’t get on judgement day and say “Lord I did all this in your name, i prayed all the time”, yet you have not read your bible. That means God knows all about you but you don’t know Him. He charges us to seek Him. (Matthew 6:33)

Also, Listen to Him. Don’t get so caught up in talking that you do not hear and listen to the Most High God. Studying the Bible shows the language and character of God which increases His voice on the inside of you.

Let us all be Christians who are bible studiers and full of the Word of God.
